An English Military Sword Rapier, 17th Century.
With long tapering double edged blade cut with a shallow fuller engraved with the Solingen running wolf mark on both sides, pierced iron cup guard with scrolled quillons, knuckle guard and ovoid raged pommel, (often classified as a Norman type 87 hilt). Wire bound grip. In good condition overall, a good and rare example.
