An Early Flintlock Queen Anne Pistol by Maskall of London. With two-stage cannon barrel, breech engraved ‘LONDINI’ and with a band of foliage at the breech, double border line engraved action and tang, decorated with scrolling foliage, stamped with London proofs and barrel smiths mark, figured globose butt carved in relief with foliage behind the tang and around the lock and side-plate, silver scrolling side-plate, escutcheon (faint traces of original owners crest) and grotesque mask.
