An 1822 Pattern Officers Sword Engraved to J. C. Ormrod. With slightly curved single edged blade, cut with a deep fuller on both sides rujngin two-thirds the length of the blade and etched with scrolling foliage and crowned ‘VR’ engraved at the forte ‘J C ORMROD’ on a scroll, Gothic hilt with VR cartouche, wire-bound fish-skin grip, in its original brass scabbard.
