A Superb Flintlock Queen Anne Pistol by W. Green of Farnham. With three-stage cannon barrel, breech engraved ‘FARNHAM’ and with a band of foliage at the rear, border engraved tang, border engraved action and cock, the former signed beneath the pan, stamped with London proofs and Foreigners mark, trigger guard engraved with a flower head on the bow, trigger guard also acting as a sliding safety guard, figured globose butt carved in relief with foliage behind the tang, silver side-plate, escutcheon engraved with original owners initials and silver grotesque mask, stamped with makers mark in the mouth. In superb condition overall.
