A Pair of Flintlock Box-Lock Pocket Pistols by W. Bond, London. With round brass turn-off barrels, struck below at the breech with London proofs, line engraved box-lock actions, signed ‘W.BOND’ within ovals surrounded by a sun-burst to the left and ‘No.59 LOMBARD STREET LONDON’ within an oval surrounded by foliage to the right, fitted with sliding safety catches that also lock the pans, slab sided walnut grips, steel trigger guards decorated with flower heads on the bow.
