German Black And White Morion Comb Morion, Circa 1600. With two-piece skull rising to a high comb with turned edge, embossed on each side of the skull with a large fleur-de-lys, downturned brim curving up to a point fore and aft, and with turned border, the base of the skull with lining rivets with some washers remaining, plume-holder at the rear and remains of the blackened finish.
