A Flintlock Overcoat Pistol signed Twigg. With browned octagonal barrel, engraved ‘LONDON’ along the top-flat and stamped with Birmingham proofs at the breech, border engraved steel tang decorated with foliage. Border engraved stepped, bevelled lock, signed ‘TWIGG’ full-stocked in walnut with brass mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with a sun burst and a stylised pineapple finial. Replacement horn-tipped ramrod. In clean condition and working order.
