A Crisp Flintlock Canon Barrel Pistol by E. North, London. With round, three-stage, turn-off cannon barrel, decorated with a band of foliage at the breech, deeply stamped London proofs and barrel smiths mark, border engraved box-lock action decorated with foliage and signed in full on foliate scrolls on either side, fitted with sliding thumb-piece safety catch, engraved to match, steel trigger guard engraved with foliage on the bow, slab sided walnut butt, inlaid with scrolling silver wire and with raised shell engraving around the tang. A very crisp example.
