A British Military Carbine
An 18 Bore Percussion Constabulary Carbine, Dated 1856. Of regulation pattern with dated border engraved flat lock, with ‘V.R.’ crowned at the tail and ’1856 TOWER’, figured walnut full stock, stamped with ordnance marks, regulation brass mounts including butt plate stamped ’30 BPS’ on the, Hanoverian bayonet-catch, sling loops and steel ramrod.
