A 1796 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword, With straight blade, etched and gilt upon a blue ground with foliage, stands of arms, crowned GR cypher and Royal Arms, regulation gilt hilt, folding inner guard and silver simulated wire bound grip, in its leather scabbard with engraved gilt mounts, the locket with suspension ring and frog stud.
