Engraved James Reid Knuckle Duster Revolver. With all brass frame, the left side of the top strap is marked "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865". The frame has a scroll engraving on the sides with engraved accents on the front and top strap. Plain steel five shot cylinder, A scroll and dot engraving appears behind the hammer and a checkered panel is featured on the back of the grip section. Serial 10597. 

Pleasing patina to the brass, cylinder, frame and loading rod with matching serial numbers. A scarce and unusual pistol.
