With octagonal to round turn-off barrel stamped below with London proofs, border engraved steel action decorated with scrolling foliage and signed ‘London’ in script to the left, concealed trigger, swelling walnut but inlaid with scrolling silver wire and decorated with a silver squirrel within the wire, silver grotesque butt mask hallmarked for 1786.
