An Ornate 1796 Yeomanry Officers Sword
An Ornate 1796 Pattern Blue & Gilt Yeomanry Officer’s Sword by Reeves and Greaves. With curved single edged blade cut with a deep fuller running along the back edge, the blade blued and gilt etched with scrolling foliage and stands of arms, classically styled stirrup hilt decorated with acanthus scrolls and berries, with foliate lancets, wire bound shagreen grip, in its original brass mounted leather scabbard.
