An Interesting Prussian Cavalry Pistol. With sighted octagonal to round barrel, with ring at the muzzle, octagonal breech block, steel tang with back-sight and extension down the back of the butt, flintlock plate converted to percussion, heavy percussion hammer, figured half stock heavily stamped with a crowned ‘TOWER 1856’. Steel butt cap, with brass mounts comprising spur trigger guard stamped ‘ 4 3 r 101’ brass side plate and barrel band, both stamped with inspection marks. An interesting and unusual item in need of some extra research.
