An Incredibly Scarce Flintlock New Land Pattern Pistol, adapted from a shoulder stock. With round barrel steamed with Ordnance proof and viewing marks, plain tang stamped with crown inspection mark, single border line engraved lock, crowned ‘GR’ and stamped with an Ordnance acceptance mark under the pan, engraved ’TOWER’ across the tail, full-stocked in walnut (small crack to rear of tang and crack underneath the lock-plate - see photographs) stamped with numerous Ordnance marks and dated 1801, cut at the wrist with steel fitting for shoulder-stock, regulation brass mounts comprising side-plate, butt cap and original stirrup ramrod. In untouched condition.
