An Engraved London Colt Navy, No. 17014. With octagonal sighted barrel stamped ‘ADDRESS COL: COLT LONDON’ decorated with a band of engraving at the muzzle, a spray of foliage half-way down the barrel and flowers and scrolling foliage towards the cylinder, stamped with London proofs, the cylinder decorated with Naval Engagement stamped with London proofs and the serial number ‘17014’, matching numbers throughout, profusely engraved frame stamped ‘COLTS PATENT’ steel back-strap and trigger guard, with good finish throughout.
