A Flintlock Cannon Barrel Pistol by Jackson of Maidstone. With three-stage turn-off cannon barrel, engraved ‘MAIDSTONE’ at the breec, plain tang, border engraved tang, signed beneath the pan and decorated with a spray of foliage behind the cock, half-stocked in walnut, with silver decoration around the barrel tang, brass mounts comprising side-plate, grotesque mask and trigger guard with acorn finial.
