An Early Flintlock Pocket Pistol by Barbar. With round, three-stage turn-off cannon barrel, decorated with a band at the breech, stamped below with London proofs and Barbars own barrel smith mark, numbered ‘2’ border engraved box lock action, signed on a scroll to the left and ‘LONDON’ on a scroll to the right, engraved with sprays of foliage towards the pan, sliding trigger safety catch, slab sided walnut grips decorated with a carved foliate apron. In nice condition overall.
