A Percussion All Steel Officers Pistol by T.E. Mortimer, Inlaid with regimental devises of the Gordon Highlanders. With three-stage barrel, decorated with Neo-gothic arches, a panel of scrolling foliage in the middle and faceted breech, signed lock engraved with sprays of thistles and foliage, full-stocked in steel, encrusted with engraved silver thistle flowers along the fore-end, scroll work covering the rest of the body of the pistol, with two silver encrusted sphinx on each side of the grip, engraved silver button trigger, with pricker formed as thistle head, steel belt hook and original iron ramrod. In completely uncleaned condition.
