A Very Good Blunderbuss by Grice of London, Circa 1780. With octagonal to round belled brass barrel, engraved with foliage around the borders of the octagonal section, stamped with Tower private proofs, border engraved steel tang, decorated with foliage, border engraved lock, signed beneath the pan, cock and frizen decorated en suite, full-stocked in walnut with raised apron around the tang, engraved brass mounts comprising stepped side-plate, decorated with foliage, foliate engraved butt plate and trigger guard decorated with a flower head on the bow with acorn finial, horn tipped ramrod. In lovely condition overall.
