A Silver Mounted Turkish Sword, 19th Century. With broad curved fullered blade double edged towards the point, hilt comprising foliate engraved quillon block with bluntly pointed langets (one broken) and tapering quillons with bud shaped terminals, silver grip strap with rounded horn grips, the pommel pierced for a cord sword knot, in original wooden scabbard covered in black leather with deep locket and chape engraved with scrolling foliage, with shaped suspension mount en suite with the quilon block with a ring for suspension.
