A Superb Steel Mounted Flintlock Holster Pistol by Richards. With round barrel swamped towards the muzzle, decorated along the top with a long slender line of foliage, struck with Richards barrel smith mark and London proofs, foliate engraved tang, signed border engraved lock, full-stocked in walnut with raised foliate mouldings around the tang and lock, completed with engraved steel mounts comprising scrolling foliate side-plate, long eared butt cap decorated with sprays of foliage, vacant oval escutcheon and turned ramrod pipes, with horn tipped ramrod.
