A Superb Percussion Coast Guards Pistol. With round blued barrel struck with Birmingham proofs, plain tang, bevelled regulation lock, stamped ‘LACY & CO. LONDON’ full-stocked in walnut, struck with what appears to be a crowned 'TC' inspection mark on the wrist, and a crowned inspection mark ‘W.A.’ at the base of the trigger guard and, ‘W.ADAMS’ in the ramrod channel, steel belt clip, regulation brass mounts comprising butt cap with steel lanyard ring, trigger guard and ramrod pipe, with captive ramrod. In fine, completely unissued condition.
