A Superb 1756 Pattern Heavy Dragoon by Grice 1759. With round tapering barrel struck at the breech with Ordnance proofs and barrel smiths mark, plain tang struck with Ordnance mark behind the screw, rounded border engraved lock signed ‘GRICE 1759’ at the tail with ‘GR’ crowned and struck with inspectors mark underneath the pan, full stocked in walnut with raised mouldings around the lock and barrel tang, the stock stamped with numerous military marks, regulation brass mounts comprising side-plate, long-eared butt cap, trigger guard and ramrod pipes, original brass tipped ramrod. A fine early British Military pistol!
