A Stunning Pair of Small Pocket Pistols by Ellis of London. With round turn-off barrels, decorated with a band of foliage at the muzzle sand stamped with Birmingham proofs below, profusely engraved box-lock actions decorated with scrolling foliage, fitted with sliding safety catches and signed along the side of the frame, ‘H. ELLIS’ and ‘LONDON’ blued fold down triggers, profusely chequered walnut butts, with profusely engraved hall marked gold butts, with the original owners crest engraved on the escutcheons, both pistols retaining nearly all of their original finish: in their original fitted baselined in mauve velvet with all accessories including powder flask, bullet mould and barrel key. The exterior of the lid with silver escutcheon engraved with crest.
