A Sleepy Pair of Tap Action Pistols by J & W Pistols. With round turn-off barrels decorated at the muzzles and breech, numbered ‘1’ ‘/‘ ‘2’ and ‘3’ and stamped with London proofs, line engraved box-lock actions, with sliding thumb-piece safety catches, signed ‘J&W Richards’ within an oval to the left and ‘LONDON’ to the right, flat sided walnut butts with silver oval escutcheons engraved with the original owners initials, ’S.S.’. In uncleaned condition.
