With two stage Spanish barrel, swamped towards the muzzle and with silver blade fore-sight, turned girdle chiseled with a band of foliage, octagonal breech inlaid with silver crosses and two gold-lined punzones of Pedro Estevas of Barcelona, gold lined touch-hole, silver line, profusely engraved foliate tang, signed profusely engraved lock and cock, fitted with sliding safety catch, full-stocked in walnut with raised foliate mouldings around the tang and lock, silver mounts comprising side-plate, foliate butt cap, trigger guard hallmarked for 1776-77, decorated with foliage on the bow and foliate finial, turned silver ramrod pipes and horn tipped ramrod.
