A Silver Hilted Hunting Hanger hallmarked for 1748. With slightly curved single edged, saw-back blade, cut with two fullers along the back-edge, double edged towards the point. Silver hallmarked hilt, with three-bar guard and stag-horn grip. 


Notes:

This sword was reputedly made by the female sword smith Mary Carman.
