With three turn-off barrels, border engraved box-lock action stamped with London proofs and Bird & Ashmores own mark ‘B&A’ the action decorated with a stand of arms to the right and signed within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the left, sliding safety catch absent, slab sided walnut butt (small crack near tang screw) vacant oval escutcheon.
