With slightly curved single edged blade, cut with a wide fuller running almost the entire length of the blade, double edged towards the point and appearing to retain most of its original polish, unusually no stamps at the forte, characteristic ribbed wooden grip with beaked brass pommel, contained in its original brass mounted wooden, leather covered scabbard, the top brass mount stamped with what appear to be unit markings, the mounts built to accommodate a bayonet, stamped with a matching unit mark of '3' and serial numbered '19364'. some scuffs to the leather, but in overall nice clean condition.
