A Round Framed Pocket Pistol by Sykes of Oxford. With round turn-off barrel, engraved with a band of foliage at the muzzle and single line at the breech, stated beneath with Birmingham proofs and number, ‘1’, round brass box-lock action signed beneath the pan, foliate engraved action, fitted with sliding thumb-piece safety catch that also locks the pan, swelling chequered walnut butt, with vacant silver escutcheon and silver lions head grotesque mask.
