A Round Framed Flintlock Pocket Pistol by Welch of Banbury. With round turn-off barrel, decorated with a band of foliage at the muzzle, retaining most of its original blue, stamped with Birmingham proofs, round border engraved action, signed ‘BANBURY’ on and oval surrounded by stands of arms to the right, and WELCH in an oval to the left, fitted with sliding thumb-piece safety catch that also locks the pan, swelling walnut butt with vacant white metal escutcheon, fold down trigger.
