With sighted rifled octagonal barrel, struck with Birminghams proofs at the breech, and engraved ‘LONDON’ along the top flat (rubbed) stepped bevelled lock, fitted with a sliding safety catch (removed) full-stocked in walnut (cracked through and glued) cut with chequering at the grip, diamond shaped escutcheon and brass mounts comprising trigger guard decorated with a shield surrounded by foliage on the bow and pineapple finial, brass ramrod pipes and brass tipped ramrod.
