A Remington Elliot Single Shot Mississippi Derringer. With sighted round turn-off barrel, engraved with two line address in patent form, stamped with the serial number underneath the barrel, the angular steel frame is also stamped with corresponding serial number, chequered trigger retaining a large amount of original colour, wooden grips.
The pistol is in excellent condition overall, barrel retains most of the original blued finish, along with the hammer and trigger, the grips are fine overall with only minor handling blemishes.
These pistols were produced by Remington from 1867 to 1888 with a production of approximately 10,000.
