A Percussion Pocket Pistol by Evans of London. With round turn-off barrel, decorated with a band at the muzzle, stamped beneath with Birmingham proofs, rounded box-lock action, signed, ‘Evans’ at the breech, foliate engraved side-panels, sliding safety catch, folding trigger, swelling walnut butt inlaid with silver wire scrollwork and engraved with silver foliage, engraved lions-head butt-cap, with vacant silver escutcheon.
