A Percussion Duelling Pistol by Barton of London. With browned sighted barrel signed ‘Barton London’ in script along the top flat, breech block with single gold line, foliate engraved tang fitted with rear-sight, stepped border engraved lock, signed ‘Barton’ engraved hammer decorated en suite (converted from flintlock) full stocked in walnut cut with deep chequering at the grip, steel mounts comprising spurred trigger guard with pineapple finial and turned ramrod pipes, horn tipped ramrod.
