A Pair of Percussion Pocket Pistols by Venables of Oxford. With re-blued sighted octagonal barrels, decorated with geometric bands at the muzzles, stamped with Birmingham proofs, tutaneg box-lock actions profusely engraved with scrolling foliage and signed ‘VENABLES OXFORD’ on scrolls, steel cocks engraved en suite, swelling walnut butts cut with micro-chequering and decorated with engraved silver studs at the base.
