A Pair of Irish Double Barrel Pistols by Dowling of Dublin. With sighted twist barrels engraved ‘DUBLIN’ along the central ribs, profusely engraved breech and barrel barrel tangs, cut with shallow sighting grooves, profusely engraved, signed back-action locks, cocks decorated en suite, highly figured walnut half-stocks (one with hair line crack at rear of lock) chequered at the grips swelling to a ‘fish-tail’ grip, engraved tutaneg butt cap and barrel escutcheons, profusely engraved steel trigger guards in the Irish fashion, engraved ramrod pipes, horn tipped wooden ramrods.
