A Pair of Flintlock Duelling Pistols by Siddall of Chester. With browned swamped sighted barrels, stamped below with London proofs and inset with gold poincons with makers names ‘SIDDALL CHESTER’ with single gold lines and gold touch holes, stepped, bevelled locks with locks signed within gold ovals, half-stocked in walnut and cut with bands of chequering at the grips, with silver fore-end caps and silver barrel escutcheons, engraved steel mounts comprising trigger guards decorated with a vase with vines/flowers and with pineapple finials, original horn tipped ramrods with worms.
