A Pair of German Flintlock Pistols by Kuchenreuter, Circa 1780. With tapering octagonal to round sighted barrels, inlaid with silver scroll work and signed along the top flats, with inlaid silver-lined makers stamp on each barrel, shaped tangs incorporating rear-sights numbered ‘1’ and ‘2’ respectively, signed rounded locks each with a moulded border, figured walnut stocks each carved with scrollwork in relief, shaped brass mounts including solid side-plates, and horn tipped ramrods.
