A Pair of 16-Bore Percussion Officers Pistols by Bourne of London. With browned, sighted octagonal barrels engraved ‘LONDON’ along the top flats and with rear-sights towards the breech, foliate engraved case-hardened breech plugs, foliate engraved tang retaining much original finish, foliate engraved locks signed ‘BOURNE’ cocks decorated en suite, full-stocked in walnut retaining much original varnish with horn fore-end caps, engraved steel trigger guards, one retaining all original finish, the other slightly rubbed but still good, captive ramrods: in an associated modern case, lined and fitted in green baise with accessories and reproduction trade label. A nice clean set.
