A P1842 Bayonet ex. Thoresby Hall. With slightly curved, hollow ground blade of triangular section, stamped with numerous Ordnance marks and makers name, I SALTER, the socket marked with storage marks.

These all came from Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire where they formed a fan of bayonets on the wall and they carry the Thoresby Hall white painted inventory numbers. No scabbards.
