A Near Mint Pair of Percussion Pistols by Sargant Brothers. With sighted octagonal barrels retaining all original brown, colour case-hardened breeches decorated with scrolling foliage, profusely engraved tangs incorporating rear-sights, signed border engraved locks, decorated with scrolling foliage throughout, fitted with sliding safety catches, cocks decorated en suite, full stocked in walnut cut with chequering at the grip, blued border engraved trigger guards, decorated with scrolling foliage on the bows with stylised pineapple finials, fitted with captive ramrods. The pistols retain nearly all original colour throughout: in their original fitted case lined in green baize with superb accessories including flask, bullet mould etc, the exterior with flush fitting carrying handle.
