A Large and Impressive Flintlock Sporting Gun by Lowe. With sighted octagonal barrel stamped at the breech with the makers ark within a gold poincon, foliate engraved breech cut with a sighting groove, stepped border engraved lock, signed in script beneath the pan, full stocked in walnut and cut with a band of chequering at the wrist, complete with bras furniture, comprising ornate side-plate engraved with the original owners initials S and R, engraved butt plate and trigger guard, with turned ramrod pipes and horn tipped ramrod.
