A Huge Carbine Bore Percussion Pepperbox by John Blissett of London. With fluted barrel block engraved with sprays of foliage at the muzzle and numbered ‘1’ to ‘5’ stamped with London proofs and ‘JOHN BLISSETT, 322 HIGH HOLBORN LONDON’ along the top flat, foliate scroll engraved rounded action with nipple shield, fitted with a sliding safety catch that locks the hammer, deeply chequered walnut butt, stamped ’11’ pistol also fitted with large blued belt-clip, foliate engraved butt-cap with hinged trap, foliate engraved trigger guard.
