An English Harquebusiers Breastplate, With raised neck and medial ridge terminating in a point at the waist, which dips down to the centre and has a narrow flange. The neck and arms edges have plain inward turns. At either side of the chest are mushroom headed studs for fastening the shoulder straps. The neck edge is bordered with five rivets and the flange with nine. The arms and flange decorated with a single line of engraving.

Internal Marks:
The breastplate is struck with armourers construction mark, ‘IIIIII’ of six lines.
