With round blued barrels, decorated with bands of foliage at the muzzles and breech end, with barrel lugs and stamped with Birmingham proofs, border engraved brass box-lock actions, signed ‘FREY’ within an oval to the left and ‘LEICESTER’ within an oval to the right, both sides decorated with stands of arms, fitted with sliding safety catches that also lock the pans, chequered walnut saw-type butts, with oval escutcheons on the butts.
