A Very Good Flintlock Overcoat Pistol by Tatham of London. With sighted octagonal to round barrel, signed ‘Tatham London’ in script and decorated with a band of engraving at the breech, engraved case-hardened tang, beautifully engraved signed lock, border engraved, French cock, full-stocked in walnut, cut with deep chequering on the grip, engraved steel mounts comprising blued butt-cap, profusely engraved trigger guard with pineapple finial, engraved ramrod pipes, with original horn tipped ramrod. In superb condition overall.

Supplied Ordnance with Malaysian ‘Cresses’ [Kris] 1801; presentation rifles for Indian Chiefs, 1816. Died 1835.
