A Very Good 1891 Pattern Midshipman’s Dirk. Blade by Gieves, etched with scrolls, crowned GRV cypher and fouled anchor, regulation gilt hilt with lion’s head pommel, wire bound fish skin grip, in its leather scabbard with engraved gilt mounts, the locket fitted with spring clip and twin suspension rings, complete with knot with blue and gold cord and acorn.

The locket is engraved with original owners name ‘D.R. Minett’
