A Good Flintlock Officers Pistol by T. Bolton & Co, London. With sighted octagonal barrel signed ‘LONDON’ with single platinum line at the breech and platinum touch-hole, profusely engraved steel tang incorporating back-sight, stepped bevelled lock signed ’T BOLTON & CO’ and decorated with scrolling foliage, the cock profusely engraved with scrolling foliage, full-stocked in walnut cut with chequering at the grip, with a dark horn fore-end cap, engraved steel mounts comprising trigger guard and ramrod pipes, fitted with captive ramrod, in good clean order overall, retaining some original finish.
